Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a committed, dynamic team in the East Bay. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and experience with Yardi software. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and maintain excellent vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
• Utilizing Yardi software to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Reviewing and verifying invoices and check requests.
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial files and records.
• Communicating with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
• Assisting in month-end closing and preparing monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 1st shift

Additional Details

Salary range is $28 - $34 per hour.
