Accounts Payable Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a committed, dynamic team in the East Bay. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and experience with Yardi software. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and maintain excellent vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
- Utilizing Yardi software to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Reviewing and verifying invoices and check requests.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial files and records.
- Communicating with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
- Assisting in month-end closing and preparing monthly reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 1st shift

Additional Details
Salary range is $28 - $34 per hour.
